I Finished My 1st Quilt

I finally finished my first quilt! You may recognize it from this post or this post. It took a little longer than I hoped but I love it. The binding was much easier than I thought it would be (thanks Kathy) and I love that I'm not stuck with the store bought binding options. My stitches are big but I like them that way.

I'm totally in love with it but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it. I intended to keep it in the living room as a 'snuggle on the couch' quilt but it doesn't match the living room as much as I would like. It also turned out a little smaller than I would like for a 'snuggle on the couch' quilt. So, I'm open to suggestions. If you have any ideas, just let me know.

Wow, I can't believe how much hair Calder has now!

How big is your quilt? (feet x feet) I prefer big wrap-around-two-people sized quilts, but we have some smallish blankets that are just fine for throwing over me when we watch movies and what not.

Is it just not as cozy as you would like? Or is it really too small to do any good?

So it is about 5ft by 4 ft. I think it is just fine for throwing over me but I think I want a bigger one. It would also be the perfect toddler bed quilt although the fabric isn't 'baby' it is a good size for it.

Oh wow, and it turned out so cute. I love your choice of fabrics and the patchwork look.
