333 W BROAD ST COLUMBUS, OH 614-228-2674 http://www.cosi.org/When I first moved to Columbus, I didn't know very many people. I did a quick internet search and found out that they have a fabulous science museum called COSI. I went to COSI almost weekly while we lived there. It is that good. If you're only in town for a week, spend a day here. It's worth it, especially if you have toddlers.

It seems that I can't do a city guide without listing a bookstore but this one is worth visiting too. It is a large house that encompasses a whole city block. It has 32 rooms of books and each room has a different soundtrack playing. I LOVE this book store. It's not stroller friendly, but I always parked outside without problems. While you're in German Village, take a look around. There are all sorts of amazing shops, restaurants and bakeries.

I didn't discover this awesome place until a few months before we moved. I wish I would have known about it sooner. It is amazing and a wonderful place to spend a day with or without kids. Dare I say this is the most beautiful place in Columbus.
160 EASTON TOWN CENTER COLUMBUS, OH http://eastontowncenter.com/I wouldn't normally put a mall on the list of things to do but this one is more of an outdoor, European feeling, shopping area. It has all the big name stores, so if you need a shopping fix, head up there.
