Simple St Patrick's Day Craft: Shamrock Rainbow

Here on the dacha, we are not Irish, but love any excuse to decorate and celebrate!
This craft takes about 1 hour from beginning to end.
So grab the following:
  1. Glue stick
  2. Paper
  3. Scissors

Print this:
  • Shamrock pattern (right click and save as image to be printed)

Trace and cut out the shamrocks in rainbow colors:

Cut and glue together strips of paper, and glue the shamrocks on:

And end up with this (probably could have added 2 more rows to make it perfect)!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

FYI: St. Patrick was captured/enslaved as a young man (about 16) and forced to labor in Ireland. He eventually escaped. Years later, he felt moved to return to Ireland to teach about God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. He used the clover to teach the pre-Christian Irish about the Trinity. I don't believe in the Trinity as he taught, but I love looking at the clovers and thinking about his sacrifice and love for others.
